My LEEP procedure took 15 minutes too. There is absolutely no reason to do this procedure under general anethesia, the local anethesia works just fine. General anethesia is putting yourself at additional unnecessary risk. You had Dysplasia, so I would not have expected you to have been in there for very long. I understand how scary this whole process can be, but you need to make sure that your concerns are rooted with information and not just being scared of the unknown. If you are still concerned, I would go to a second doctor and have them validate the direction your doctor is going. Hopefully, this will give you a warm comfy. From what I can tell, it is in line with my experience too and nothing stands out as being something you should be concerned with. Please look at the other posts on people's LEEP procedures. Most of them are very positive and very quick. I have not heard of any of them being done under general anethesia.
