Hi,

I too am a newly dx warrior, but had my surgery (Ivor lewis) on March 18th. My CT before surgery mentioned no visible sign of spread, but 15 of the 30 lymph nodes removed were affected, so I am now awaiting starting chemo ... should have been this week, but Oncologist decided that I was not strong enough to start, as I have been having trouble holding my weight (I also had a 4 week stay in hospital due to setbacks). Anyhow, while I am waiting to start, she has ordered another set of CTs, which I had yesterday, as she wants to be sure that the "cysts" they saw in my liver were in fact cysts. I will collect the scans tomorrow and see what the report says and hope that they are cysts!

Know that the surgery is no walk in the park, but that you do adjust. Fingers crossed for your MRI.

Hugs,

Chrissy, Australia
