Kathy .... Thanks for responding. Were you given a stage with a tumour of 35 pounds? That is huge! And congrats on being cancer free for 5 years!!

It is nice to know that there is treatment for the pins and needles. I have noticed this as a side affect in some of the articles I have read and having experienced the feeling before for short periods when sleeping too long on an arm, I certainly would not want to be 'burdened' with it on a continuous basis. I am so glad the meds work for you!!

 My surgery is behind me now and other than the normal discomfort of having a huge incision, I am recovering quickly and feeling great. My oncologist will contact me in the next few weeks once he receives the report from the lab and we will decide then whether chemo will be our next step. He was very pleased with the results of the surgery, so I'm hoping that we might skip adjuvant treatment once again ......
