Granulosa Cell Tumours - Chemotherapy?

I have had the Carboplatin / Taxol (C/T) combination chemotherapy. Since then I have had one small re-occurence and am now taking arimidex (as opposed to Lupron, which is the best but made me feel very emotional).

The BAP combo is very toxic to the lungs as opposed to C/T which is more neurotoxic. It took about a year for me to really recover but I am glad I went through the C/T chemo. It left me with some kidney damage which is rare. Before that, I had 8 large tumors. Chemotherapy was helpful but not a cure.

GCT is an indolent tumor. This means it doesn't have a cure and chemotherapy is not a cure. But best evidence suggests the T/C chemotherapy is the future "best" option. Then, Lupron is most helpful in slowing the growth (a hormone suppressor). But Lupron made me feel awful emotionally, so I am trying Arimidex (off label).
