Hi,
I haven't many times posted before. I am a 48 year old male diagnosed with GBMIV in Sept 07. The tumor was large, about lemon sized, and located behind my right eye. I received 33 radiation/Temodar treatments in Nov. and December. I just finished my fourth month of 5/23 Temodar last month. I had a clean MRI scan in January, and a second clean scan this week! I am so thrilled and am praising God! I have ten children, with many of them still at home. My wife is my caregiver, and is my rock. I am also the sole breadwinner for the family. I was able to go back to work in November, and am currently symptom free. This message board has been very helpful, and as I read through some of your stories I try to pray for each of you.
God's blessings to you all: Pat
Pat,
Praise God for your blessings! He is so good. That is amazing you are symptom free! I was dx in Aug. 07, have had 3 good MRI's and went back to work teaching kindergarten. Although I have not been symptom free, I have only had to deal with a few minor effects from chemo.
My prayers for you and your family is for God to continue his blessings and healing in your continued progress.
"I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Trusting in Him,
