I started taking Tarceva about three weeks ago. The rash on my face shows up as tiny pimples with heads that pop and bleed. Sometimes they're in clusters and it's hard to stop the bleeding. Tiny scabs form but break off again when I wash my face. Has anyone had similar experience of bleeding rash?

Appreciate any suggestions for how to handle the bleeding and cleansing.

It sounds like your rash has gotten infected.  You need to contact your doctor for an antibiotic.  The rash should not be bleeding.  There is also a cream you can use called clobatasol propionate .05% that can be prescribed that should help.  Don't worry too much.  The meds will take care of it.  The rash is a very good sign that the tarceva is working for your and that's a good thing.

Hang in there and don't give up.  It's well worth it in the long run.  I've been on it 19 months and it's worked wonders.

Good luck and God Bless.
