People's rashes are different. I doubt that yours is infected as I had the same thing happen. I changed my washcoloth to a soft babyi wash cloth and used a gentle cleasing lotion and non-alcoholic rinse with a good moisturizer. Lindi products are good for this also. The rash got somewhat better as months went by. Keep it moist with lotion. When it spread to my body, I used Eucerin cream. That helped to keep the scabs soft and relieve the itching. Good luck. The rash is worth it. It gave me 7 months of freedom, but eventually stopped working and I am now on conventional chemo with excellent results.
