My mother is in stage IV of lymphoma. She does eat if we put food in her hand, but seems to have trouble opening her eyes and focusing and most times not knowing who we are. Has anyone else experienced symptoms like this?
She was diagnosed in Mar 08 and at this point cannot walk and sleeps all the time. She has had one chemo treatment and they will not give her another one because she will not stay awake.
Also, the Dr said she may have demencha (spelled wrong), but that does not come on in three days. One day we were talking have a great time and three days later she did not know who I was.
Can anyone give me something that would cause this type or I don't know - Does lymphoma work this way sometime?
