She was diagnosed in Mar 08 and at this point cannot walk and sleeps all the time. She has had one chemo treatment and they will not give her another one because she will not stay awake.
Also, the Dr said she may have demencha (spelled wrong), but that does not come on in three days. One day we were talking have a great time and three days later she did not know who I was.
Can anyone give me something that would cause this type or I don't know - Does lymphoma work this way sometime?

I am so sorry you and your family have to go through this. What type of lymphoma does she have? My husband has non-hodgkins lymphoma of the brain. A lot of things can affect how your mom feels; the treatments, the cancer itself, depression, her age, general health, medications. I would be very blunt and ask her doctor what he thinks is causing this. Ask if there is anything that can be done. Her body might be having trouble adjusting to the meds or she could be very depressed. Everyone is different. My husband went through something similar after whole brain radiation and we simply had to give him time and wait it out. It improved in time. Is she taking any type of anti-depressants? This did help my husband. My heart goes out to you, stay strong.
