Today I was informed once again that my latest CT scans have shown no change since I began a phase two clinical trial of RAD001 for pancreatic cancer. At the very beginning of the trial my liver leisions were reduced considerably.

I am now beginning the 17th cycle (month) of RAD001 treatment for my non-functioning islet cell pancreatic cancer with mets to the liver. My liver tumors remain reduced and to date there have been no new sites. My bloodwork has been good.

Thus far the side effects have been very tolerable for me and very worth while.

Quality of life is precious.

Good can happen when you least expect it.
