I think that they took him off as soon as possible b/c he is a diabetic.  the steroids really wack out his blood sugar.  He says he isn't in any pain except for a persistant muscle spasm in his neck.  he attributes this to bad positioning during surgery and the pain has been controled, first with muscle relaxers, and now with tylenol. the tumor was located just anterior to his supplemental motor cortex.  He couldn't move his left side at all, post surgery, but he is now moving the arm and the leg and has progressed to using a walker( with support).  all of the PT's are astounded with how fast he has improved....

I guess i'll have to chalk this up to the surgery...cuz that could make anyone get a little grunpy....
