Sorry to hear about your mum. My dad has NSCLC with brain met for a year and now an eye met too unfortunately.After 2courses of radiation to the brain and 2chemo rounds he is now on Tarceva and he is still a smoker..... I think he thinks that he's got cancer so what else can happen. He has been smoking since the age of 12!
However we are in Greece, so i don't know whether the doctors prescribe Tarceva to smokers in other countries. I hope they do.They should anyway
