My daughter, age 40, is four months post surgery: liver section and colon section. Last weekend she ended up in emergency ward. Nothing was coming out in illiostomy bag. Dye and enema were administered. Dye to get picture of possible blockage and enema through stoma to relieve blockage. The result was hours of severe pain and vomiting. Relief came hours later with morphine and nausea meds. She came home feeling pretty good two days later. Is this going to be a pattern? She is on avastin and zelodan? for six more weeks and then is to under go a reversal of illiostomy in October. Anyone with similar problems? Judy
