Date: 06/06/2008 Hey, My grandma (age 74) was diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer last week. Apparently its a recurrence of her breast cancer that she had over 25 years ago. She has Malignant Pleural Effusion around her lungs, but no tumor. Has anyone heard of this? If so what are the chances that the cancer has spread to other parts of her body? If she decides to take chemo again what are the her chances of survival. Keep in mind there is NO tumor.
