My Husband, diagnosied last year at age 44, went to the Mayo for a second opinion. Dr Tefferi is an expert but I was a little disappointed with the visit. He told my husband he thought he had ET without looking at the BM biospy. Then came back and said, yes he has MF but he had a good prognoises. Maybe if you live near the clinic it may be more beneficial.
