Hi Irv,
I can definately relate to your concerns. I was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lyphoma 15 Years ago. I was 27 years old. I recovered from CHOP and chemo and radiation. I was an outpatient at the Dana Farber for 8 months until I went into remission. I then decided to have a bone marrow transplant. I am in good health now and feel great.
I can only recommend what I found helpful and really feel in some way helped me.
If your doctor says that your immune system is strong enough to drink juice, using a juicer, try it. I know you must feel week and very tired that is why I'm tellling you this. I have a juiceman junior and I used whatever I could get as far as fruit, veggies, garlic, ginger, parsly, beet leaves, garlic is very good for your blood. Juice it up raw with other veggies. Drink it down and block your nose if you have to. In my mind I was so positive that the chemo I was getting, that I would eventually flush it out of my system with the juice. I tried to do about 2-3 glasses a day. Sometimes I wouldn't have the strength, so if someone else can do it for you that's even better.
If your tired, rest it is very important to keep your strength. I would recommend keeping a couple of very light weights next to your bed, only lift when you feel you can push yourself to.
Stay positive, and if you need to talk about it just email me at
