My dad has stage 3B Colon cancer. Surgery on April 29 removed a fist sized tumor. He is still in the hospital (going on 7 weeks) due to multiple abscesses/infection in the colon. Is this commen? He has lost so much weight and his spirits are very low due to the length of time in hospital and so many set backs. He has not been able to receive treatment for the cancer as of yet. We are in dispair trying to figure out what to do. Please respond.
