Hi. Sorry to hear about your medical problems. I just finished 6 months of treatment for Hodgkins. Anyway, don't give up on the doctors and be careful about what you read on the Internet. They first found I had swollen lymph nodes with a CAT scan of my abdomen and chest. If you're fighting an infection your lymph nodes can be swollen so don't get alarmed too quickly. Next, they confirmed I had cancer with a PET scan. Finally, they did a biopsy of one of the lumps in my neck and diagnosed Hodgkins. My primary care doctor ordered the CAT scan and referred me to an oncologist who ordered the PET scan and biopsy. An oncologist can also tell a lot about whats going on from your blood tests.
