First off, I'm 16 years old. I've had these pinkish colored "bumps" under my tongue for as long as I can remember. I wouldn't really call them bumps (but for the lack of a better word) but they're not white in color and they do not hurt at all. They are very small too and not swollen or inflamed as far as I can tell. By touch, I can't even feel that they're bumps.
Are these anything to worry about? I'm guessing not...
Also, I'm not sure what the special medical term is for this by my tongue has that extra attachment thing and right where it connects to the tongue, I have this pink bump thats larger compared to the other ones I just mentioned - difficult to explain but it's not large or anything. It's basically the same color as my tongue but a very little bit darker. It doesn't hurt at all to the touch and everythign feels normal in my mouth. Also, I don't smoke or consume alcohol so I'm skeptical about anything cancerous but neverless, is this anything to worry about?
One more thing: over the two veins under my tongue, is it normal to have a lighter-colored bit of flesh over them? By that, I mean that to touch it can be moved around, etc.
Thanks!
