Hi! Julie, Thank you for asking about my surgery. I went in on the 17th of July, The surgery lasted an hour or so, Then I spent 2 hours in recovery because they couldn't get the pain under control. I had a pretty rough night Thurs., the pain block wore off and the morphine wasn't helping at all. On Friday the Dr gave me something stronger and the pain was under control.He kept me one more night to make sure the pain was stable. Saturday I was able to come home and i've been just taking it easy letting this shoulder heal. I believe I'll be fine once it has completely mended.I go back Wed. to let him look and tell me when I start Sutent again.
