My husband started his radiation and chemo treatments last Tuesday. He has Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Level IIIA. His tumor is 6.9 cm X 3.9 cm and is in his right upper lobe with lymph node attachment.
My question is:
He started radiation on that Tuesday now for a total of four rad treatments. Is it normal to have chest pain other then in the right lung? He didn't even have pain in that lung until yesterday. Now he is saying he has pain in both lungs and his chest cavity. No real severe but it is there.
Is this an effect from radiation?
Please help me with this, I am very concerned.
