My oncologist took me off Zometa for that very reason and early tooth pain could be a sign, check immediately with your oncologist and ask to temp stop the Zometa. Biophosphates are really now begining to show bad side effects..I would do some research on side effects...Some peopletake it without a problem I did for 3 months and my doc suddendly decided that MM patients maybe better off without Zometa. mms.
