Subject: abdominal pain
Date: 07/04/2008
I had the whipple procedure nearly a year ago.  I had little post-operative pain until after Chemo and Radiation.  Sometime during my six weeks of treatment I began to experience excruciating pain (felt like gas cramping). It is not really let up, but actually gotten worse.  As I read the testimonies on this sight, these pains seem to have subsided, after time, with most respondents.  Please give me some good news if this is the case. I have two Gastro Drs. and they both seem somewhat stumped.  The last one told me I could eat just about anything, but in small quantities.  That worked for a while, but I've gotten to where I am afraid to eat.  I've lost over 60 pounds.  I have not experienced a pain free day in over six months. Help!!!
