I took my two year old son to the doctor to check a bump I noticed on the side of my sons throat. The ENT mentioned that there was no infection and sent me to a cancer specialist. The cancer specialist had my son go into Quest for CT_Scan and for some blood work. According to the doctor, everything came out normal except for the size of the lymph node.  Due to this, the doctor said that I had two choices. The first choice was to get a biopsy where there were going to remove the node and send it to get tested. The second option was to simply wait and observe. What do you reccomend? My son eats and acts like any other normal child. I am just afraid that if it is cancer, that it will spread once they try to perform the biopsy.
