What treatments did he take?
Hi, I don't know whether this is a question to me? But I'll answer anyway. My husband didnot have any treatment. Surgery was stopped, they only removed the gall bladder. Peter refused chemo, as it was indicated it doesnot help for the bile duct cancer. He didnot want to live a few weeks longer, but have months less quality of life and I feel now this was for us the right decision, as he already has a year longer than predicted. And a good year.
We did start on this anticancer diet and it is a different way of cooking, but doesnot cost much more than "normal" eating. Peter eats more now and it tasts very good. At the end of this month we can say whether or not the liver-values in his blood (enzymes) will have become better.
The only supplement Peter is taking is extra Omega-3 tablets and the liverspecialist prescribed Ursochol, a drug that makes the bile flow easier. This helps not clogging up the stent.
Wishing you and your family all the best,
Iris.
