I got my biopsy results back. I'm very scared. I have three small children, one newborn. They biopsied more moles today. Is it possible to ahve more than one melanoma at once? I see a surgeon next week who will do a wide excision which they said will probably need skin grafts. The Dr said it is exceedingly rare to have more than one melanoma at once. But I have 100's of dysplastic moles...so why would this be rare? She was very concerned about one she took today but said it was so rare to have more than one melanoma that she would guess it isn't. I see an oncologist friday too. I ahve a swollen lymph node under my arm. It ahs been swollen for years. Is that of concern? Could it have spread?
Take one day at a time, my husband has had Melanoma Cancer stage 4 for years. in 1992 it started, had 10 lymph nodes taken out, did well. Keep a postive attitude and prayers work..If I can help you stay postive, I will help., just email me,
