Hey All!
I had my second opinon appt today at the GYN oncology clinc. The doctor reviewed my chart and said that in his opinion their isn't anything to be alarmed about at this moment. He said he certainly wouldn't recommend a leep or a cone for CIN 1 and that for women who are interested in having children they do cryo. However, he didn't even recommend that at this point. He said since the biopsy showed normal tissue that most likely the cells are shedding and that it can be a normal cycle. He also mentioned that a good number of women my age have HPV. He told me to repeat the Pap in five months (Nov) and we will go from there. If said if this Pap matches the biopsy then I can go back to yearly exams. According to him I can toss my pills, try to get pregnant and see what happens!
I'm going to continue to take my vitams and hope this is all behind me. Thanks to this group for listening to me and I wish everyone the best of luck!
