I am so sorry that you are going through this but as Herenow said.. you need to educate yourself on your condition and make your own treatment choices, not let some doctor bully you into treatment..
I have been playing the "good pap" "Bad pap" game for 15 years now... over the last 2 years I have gone through, bad pap, bad colp, bad pap, bad colp.. My doctor wanted to do a LEEP back in December for colp results that came back CIN II.. I told her I wanted to avoid a LEEP at all costs and I was told to come back for a follow up pap in 6 months...
I used that 6 months to start a vitamin/ supplement regimin that is said to help women fight off CIN/ hpv without surgery... (see Tany's post for details). When I went back in for my pap last month my doc was not being very positive, saying if it stayed the same we wouldn't have to do surgery but if it was any worse I would be going under the knife... when I said I was shoting for a normal pap she said not to get my hopes up...
Well guess what? I got back normal results for the first time in 2 years!!! Why am I telling you all this? Because months ago my doctor wanted "to cut my cervix out and be done with it" those are her words... now I have taken my treatment into my own hands and I am doing better than ever and I am not recovering from invasive surgery..
