Had a CAT SCAN done today and in the afternoon received a call from my oncologist to go to emergency pronto as I had blood clots in my lungs, and it could be deadly. Once at the emergency, I was told I had Pulmonary Embolism and with alot of people who have cancer this occurs. Now I have to get an injection everyday for 6mths and see a Blood Clotting specialist and have more tests done. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this problem during their cancer? Seems one thing after another and it does get you down at times.
