Colonics?

Subject: colonics?

My wife has stage four cancer.Has had it since she was 27 and she is now 34.She has had part of her intestines removed due to the disease.At this time,her abdomin is distended,and is backed up.Enemas have been unsuccessful.I was wondering if a colonic would be helpful,or harmful.
