Thanks for the replies. It gives me confidence that I will continue to improve and become more active. I have also noticed when I attempt to jog- the feeling in my abdomen is not comfortable. But, I guess exercise will be like eating, I will try something new - if it does'nt seem to feel right at first, I'll re try later. I probably should add some arm weights to my walks. I have thought about Yoga and may join a class with my Mother in law. So far my blood sugars have been within norm, but it is always in the back of my mind that I could develop diabetes. I try to eat sm frequent meals, but I have noticed after eating larger meals, I feel like a big blob- no energy, I get so sleepy and given the opportunity, I will lay down for a few min which seems to remedy the situation so I try an exercise before I eat or way after. It sure is reassuring that Whipple patients are out there and have active lives.
