Hi,
I am looking for anyone who has been on the chemo drug Erbitux for a while and any side-effects they may be experiencing. See, my husband has had 6 cycles of erbitux, taxotere, and oxyiplatin. However, we may feel that all three drugs have taken their toll on my husband. So his DR suggested that maybe we only continue with erbitux instead of all three. Yet, I was wondering if anyone out there has been taking this drug only and what your side-effects might be and how long you have been on it. My husband has stage IV adenocarcinoma of the stomach and although these three drugs have shown promising results, we feel the side-effects are enabling his quality of life(extreme tiredness, mouth sores, pain in stomach and chest, loss of taste, numbness of hands,stomach cramping, etc). So if you have any experience with erbitux and its side-effects, please let us know. We are looking for any advise!!! Thank you!
