However, we may feel that all three drugs have taken their toll on my husband. So his DR suggested that maybe we only continue with erbitux instead of all three. Yet, I was wondering if anyone out there has been taking this drug only and what your side-effects might be and how long you have been on it. My husband has stage IV adenocarcinoma of the stomach and although these three drugs have shown promising results, we feel the side-effects are enabling his quality of life(extreme tiredness, mouth sores, pain in stomach and chest, loss of taste, numbness of hands,stomach cramping, etc). So if you have any experience with erbitux and its side-effects, please let us know. We are looking for any advise!!! Thank you!
Hi he’s got all the side effects of the chemo. we can’t tell you what these side effects are. as the last time I did so my post was removed by cancer compass. All I can say is these side effects can last up to a year or so To lessen them in the pass patient on chemo have found that taking large amounts of antioxidants like Vitamin C and D and green teas etc help.
