My brother-in-law is on a clinical trial combining erbitux with three different chemo cocktails. He was just -re-scanned following his second month on the chemo and the doctor said he had a "complete reponse" and that it was "miraculous." I don't know whether to attribute his response to the erbitux or the other elements of the chemo but so far he has been very pleased. He is stage IV esophageal cancer at the GE Juncture but I find more information on people taking erbitux on this board as well as on the boards for the cancer for which erbitux is an approved treatment. He did experience the rash which the doctors said is a very good sign that the erbitux is working.I think his chemo cocktail was FOLFOX. Good luck with your treatment.
