My mother, now  63 was diagnosed with Inta Hepatic peripheral cholangiocarcinoma last March.

She used to have acute pain in the right part of the body under the rib cage, the doctors could not detect any abnormalities, till it was detected in the CT scan.

We were all stunned, though my mother is not aware of her plight. She thinks its just a malfunction of the liver.

The Doctor immediately recommended her a surgery, but they had to abandon the cause , since the tumor was riding on the Inferior Vena Cava , which means she also required a heart operation to control the main vein. The docs advised Chemotherapy but we choose not to undergo it.Instead she was put on disciplined diet of veggie juices and fruits with herbal concotion and ayurvedic tablets. She also does yogic breathing exercise and walks a bit.

She is currently doing just ok,,,, sometimes we wonder if we have taken the right decision,,,, its almost 16 months now.Her Tumor has increased from 3 cm to 6 cm in size.

Can Anyone pls tell guide us further?

 Regards

 Amit
