Extreme Exhaustion

Subject: Extreme Exhaustion

My husband finished chemo 2 months ago (second go-around).  He also has mets to his bones (spine and hips).  He is on pain medication, mostly at night because he still works during the day.

He is experiencing EXTREME exhaustion.  He goes to bed sometimes as early as 6:30 PM.  Do I blame it on the chemo?  Or, do I blame it on the pain meds, or both?

He can barely make it through a full day of work and we are just about to the point of trying to file for disability.  How long after chemo does the tiredness last?  I know everyone is different, but I'd like to hear from others.  Also, he at times seems to be experiencing slight confusion or "slow thinking".

Your feedback is appreciated.
