Any recommendations on the best location for HIFU?

Any additional stories, case histories, results good or bad?
Thanks,

Hey RS
Are you thinking of having the HIFU treatment? My husband is pondering with the thought of this procedure as well. When were you diagnosed?
His doctor travels to both Mexico and Nassau and does the procedure with a team. It cost 25 K and of course he is with you and stays in the same hotel as you, in case of any complications. What were your cancer readings? My husband was a T-1 low grade low volume, and he is 50 years old. He is also considering the Radical surgery as well.

Hi Michelle,
I was just diagnosed a week ago. We just started looking at the options.
HIFU appears to be the least invasive and with minor side-effects.
My readings were T2C, Gleason 7, PSA 6.8. Age 52.
I thought about Robotic and have an appointment for consultation at Sutter in two days.
I have a unique condition since I am a Pilot and need to fly with a FIRST Class Medical. Since HIFU is not FDA approved it may not be an option if I can't convince the FAA that zero cancer readings should be the bottom line and not the treatment.
We should all keep in touch with our findings,
Randy
