Subject: What is The Difference Between Non and Just Small Cell?

I can't figure out the differences in Non and just small cell lung cancer?

I was told 3 weeks ago that I have non smlc, and that non is the better type?? THey gave me 6-9 months. What is that better than ?? They say I can have a clinical trial only.
