Bleeding After Chemo-Please Help

Subject: Bleeding After Chemo-please Help
Date: 08/30/2005
My mom has colon cancer mets to her liver and recently after chemo,she has had blood in her stool. She just had a colonoscopy two months ago and there was NO sign of cancer,and her doc said it could be a side effect from treatment or a sign of colon cancer reoccuring in the colon. Has anyone heard of this??? Also, does anyone know the importance of platelet counts? any advice....
