Lymph Glands Still Swollen 6 Months After Surgery

Subject: Lymph glands still swollen 6 months after surgery
Date: 05/28/2002
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do to reduce/get rid of swollen lymph glands (or nodes?) following breast cancer surgery? Was not a mastectomy but most of the breast and lymph nodes were removed, but there is still a lot of swelling there. Surgeon says nothing can be done.
