Hi, dad is still having trouble. His latest is a blocked ureter as well. His was on the right side and do to scar tissue. They put a tube in his back with a stent into his kidney and laser cut through the stricture. in his case this worked so far, but they will check it in four weeks when they remove the tube. Remind me, what was your husbands cancer grade and stage. Was it found in any other areas? Dad was grade 3 and also prostate cancer. Both were thought and hopefully were contained without any other cancer in the urter or urthera or nodes. He has had the abcess, clot and now this. Hes trying hard to keep his spirits up but as you know its hard. I thought things were better for you guys! He had his sugery in Springfield? What other complications did he experience again? We are hoping and prying that after the tubes are removes he will FINALLY start to feel better and recover. He has had one thing after another and it seems most dont even have one complication and we have had three. We are hoping this is not a precursor to his future. He had a 90% ten year survial but after all these procesures and complications who knows. ANy other sugery can cause a domino effect. We cant figure out what is going on!
