Hello,
I have very limited information regarding my 75 year old aunt who has sarcoma. Here is what I do know, she has had 1 tumor removed from her foot about 10 years ago, and had radiation that followed. She went in nov 2005 to have a tumor removed from her back, and they found 2 masses on her lungs. they did not do the surgery to removes the mass on her back. this is from the findings of her chest xray and ct scan: Large masses in the right hemithorax. One is likely to be pulmonary in origin, the other is centrally located and may be pulmonary-hilar-mediastinal. findings suggest neoplasm.
she had a biopsy last thursday and has had to have 3 chest xrays since then (not sure why?) and she goes back to the dr this thurs to discuss treatment options, however since the beginning of Nov, she has had dificulty breathing and gets short of breath very quickly. I am trying to not think the worst, however the info I do have does not sound promising. Does anyone have any feedback on the info I posted here? anything would be helpful. thank you
