My mother is 77 and had a hysterectomy and her bladder removed on Nov. 1, since then she has had constant and fowl discharge, her surgeon has since only recomended an antibiotic Keflex to relieve this simptom but she has been on it for a long time without any significant changes.
Me and my family members have expressed our concern about this problem and the fact that they want to put her on chemotherapy but have felt like this surgeon and her cancer team are not communicatin with each other and are disatisfied with their aproach .
Is this really safe to have my mother go thru chemotherapy at this time eventhough she is not healed and has this cloudy discharge?
