Hi - I have a black lab mix, Jake, 13 years old, and in November found out he has bladder cancer. The vet told me there was not alot that could be done for him, as the cancer was so advanced. For the past 2 months he has been full of the puppy spirit. Today, he took a turn for the worst. My deepest fear was coming to reality, the decision to love him enough to let him go. My prayer to God was give me the strength to do what is best for Jake, and not allow my selfishness to step in. I certainly wish I would have found this site at the beginning of the terrible news. As I have read many of you have share the same heartache as I am experiencing. Please Jake in your prayers. Bless you all!
