Thank you for the response and I am glad to hear that you are doing well. I am not sure what happened but if you get this or a facsimile I apologize. I am not sure if a previous message was sent or not.
The background on Karen's situation is as follows; almost 3 weeks ago she had her gall bladder removed and it was found to be cancerous. They also removed some lymph nodes (not known to any of us) and they were later found to be cancerous. Karen went to the James Cancer hospital at Ohio State University where we all thought they were going to remove lymph nodes and test them for cancer. It was then during a pre surgery consult that the cancerous lymph nodes were revealed to Karen. The surgery went as scheduled since the MRI showed that the cancer was not in any of her vital organs. Her surgeon advised that he could not remove any without putting Karen at risk. He did re-route the duodenum (sp) to help her digestive system. She has had 2 surgeries within 3 weeks. Karen wants to speak with someone who has faced something close to what she is going to face. Karen is very religious and has lead a faith directed life. Linda, if you would call her we would be grateful. Please contact my wife, Kathy or me by calling collect to --- Message edited by CancerCompass staff: for personal protection, phone number removed.
