I would contact your physician regarding the swollen vein. Your nose will get worse, trust me, but in the end, will be worth it. Due to the mohs surgery on my nose, I didn't feel the effects of Carac there, only on every other part of my face!!! I'm 10 days free of it, and still pink, but hey, it gives me some "color".
