He wasn't specific about what he was looking for in my treatment. Has anyone else experienced similar advice?
Thanks,

I have just been prescribed 30 treatments of efudex but the doctor says that there is no need to do it all at once. He says to take a couple of applications a day for a few days until my face gets red and to stop taking it for up to 10 days until the discomfort subsides and then start again, stopping again as necessary. I told him that everything I read, even the instructions say not to stop taking it once you start and he tells me that that is the old conventional wisdom. That it has been found to be just as effective in small doses as long as I complete the treatments. This works for me as those pictures on topicalchemo.com scare the hell out of me. Has anyone else been prescribed this method of treatment?
