I have gone through about 6-9 months of doctor's appointments, bloodwork, tests, scans, etc. to address, what I have come to find out, the signs of ovarian cancer. Finally, about 2 weeks ago I was scheduled for an edrometrium oblation to help with my 3-week periods and as part of the prep for the surgery, I had an ultrasound done. During the ultrasound they found a 2" cyst on my left ovary. Since then I had the CA test run on the cyst and the doctor said it came back "on the high borderline of cancer". What does that mean? My doctor has added to the oblation surgery, a laporoscopy and keeps telling me not to worry, but I am concerned. The symptoms have been life-altering and I am concerned that I am not being informed of what is really going on. She said she is going to take the ovary and the cyst and she feels confident that everything is fine. How do you know for sure? I feel very naive about these things and am hoping someone can provide me some feedback. THANK YOU. Kelly
