Our mother just recently had the whipple procedure and is experiencing stomach burning and is continuing to vomit bile for the past two days. Is this a common side effect and if it is does it last for a long time? She is a diabetic and it's hard to get her to take her insulin right now and everytime we give her medicine she throws it up. Are there any certain types of foods and liquids she should be taking?
