Subject: Cesium Treatment
Date: 10/01/2006
I was diagnosed with cervical cancer november 2005. i had 25 doses of radio therapy but because it effected my kidneys i had to have a different dose of chemotherepy resulting in once a week. i also had to have a stent inserted into my kidneys. My treatment was finished off with radiation rods inserted into my womb for 48/52 hours of this time i was in a room on my own because of the radiation.
I have now luckly had the all clear and the 2 tumors i had have gone without me having to have any surgery.
Unfortunatley i have many side effects with my bowels. one day i am running to the toilet the next i am constipated, i have back and stomach pains these effects are so severe that i seem to be getting depressed all the time. the doctor has prescribed various different tablets but none have worked and i cannot find anyone who has had this treatment so that i can talk about the treatment and side effects with. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I'M SCARED.
Thank you/
